While our staff check messages regularly, please note that email and text responses may not be immediate.

You can call, text or email Birchway Niagara 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. A trained counsellor will listen to you and help you to figure out your options, which may include:

-basic counselling support over the phone
-helping you to develop a safety plan for you (and your children if you have them)
-setting up an office appointment to provide counselling, legal or housing support
-arranging for a shelter stay
-providing referrals to other services in the community

Whether you are in crisis or are just starting to suspect you could use some help, contact us. All of our services are free and confidential.

You can reach out to us whether it is an intimate partner (e.g., husband, boyfriend or girlfriend), a parent, an adult child or another person in your life that is being abusive.

Counselling support is also available by appointment in our outreach offices in Welland, Port Colborne and Fort Erie.

Melanie is typically available Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – noon to respond to booking requests.
