Current Opportunities
Relief Women’s Intervention Advocate
As the ideal candidate, you have a post-secondary education in Social Work/Social Services or related field as well as experience counselling women and children who have experienced abuse and working with diverse groups. You have strong communication and problem-solving skills. Successful candidates will have the ability to handle a crisis, work in a team, carry out independent and group decision making, and handle several tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills are a must. Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.

Program and are best suited to students in Child and Youth, ECE and related programs, Birchway Niagara will consider other relevant placements on a case-by-case basis, especially in the areas of social work, public relations and fundraising.
