You may be eligible for up to two hours of free legal advice from a lawyer.
In some situations, our staff can accompany you to court and other legal appointments (including meetings with your lawyer).
Any court proceeding for child custody is to take place in the city, or nearest city to the place where the child was normally a resident with her/his parents at the time of separation. This may impact decisions you make when you flee an abusive relationship and are considering relocating with your children. You can contact our Legal Advocate for more information.
