Early intervention is an important key in helping to stop the cycle of family violence. Our Child and Youth Intervention Advocates can support you and your children as they try to make sense of the abuse the have experienced or witnessed.
Did you know?
You can make an appointment with a Child and Youth Intervention Advocate whether or not you are staying in our shelter.
One-on-one counselling services are available for children and youth ages 4 to 19.
As a mother, you can also receive parenting support and information to help you support your children.
Fathers who are concerned about their child’s exposure to abuse (e.g., if your child’s mother or their mother’s new partner is behaving abusively) may also contact Birchway Niagara for support.
