The Birchway Book Riot
Thank you to everyone who joined Birchway Niagara at Canada’s best and biggest used book sale! With every used book, CD, DVD, puzzle and game you purchased, you have made an incredible impact on your community. By helping us to far exceed our goal of $125,000, you have made it possible to operate five additional safe bed spaces during the coming year.
This is what can happen when a community comes together as allies against abuse. Thank you to all of our volunteers, donors, shoppers and sponsors for just an incredible year. We can’t wait to see you all again next year, likely in June. Stay tuned for details about our 2025 sale!
Sale volunteers needed!
Canada’s best used book sale is only able to raise thousands to support survivors of abuse with YOUR help. Whether you have a couple hours to donate, or want to join us for a few days, you will be making a positive impact on your community. If you are interested in volunteering at our 2025 event, please email AliciaM@birchway.ca to add your name to our contact list. Volunteer shifts are available during the set-up, sale days and take down of the event.

Book Donations
Apple Self Storage at 4655 Kent Ave in Niagara Falls accepts donations for this event.
Sunday & Holidays: Closed
Please come in the main entrance at the front of Apple Self Storage and drop off your donation in the last room on the left (please place your donations where indicated). Please ensure that you make your donation in boxes that you can leave behind (e.g., LCBO boxes instead of Tupperware bins). Unfortunately, we are not able to coordinate delivery of books from your home or office. Thank you for your understanding.

The Birchway Book Riot is known for its high-quality used books, music and games. Our volunteers spend thousands of hours every year hand-sorting donations to ensure that shoppers have an incredible experience while supporting an important cause. By donating items that are in good repair (e.g., no rips, broken spines, mildew) you will be helping our volunteers and ensuring that the Book Riot continues to be the best used book sale in Canada!
